Building lost Forever, but the Memories...Never.

For generations Clark's Store was a huge part of every family's summer at the bay.

Summers spent at Maple Beach meant many trips to the local store & hangout. An ice-cream cone or drink was necessary while basking on the sunny sandbars.

Clark's was run by the Clark family and changed families a couple of times over the years. Over the course of those years they had everything from tacky shell figurines with google eyes to Cover-Girl makeup that you could easily say had been on the shelf way too long for we all we knew that Christie Brinkley's contract with Cover Girl had long expired.

Kris, you have many fond memories of Clark's store...those were great times! It was a time when you could give little girls some loose change and they would be lost in front of a penny counter of endless goodies. It was also comforting for Dad and I to know that you and Marci were always safe walking those few blocks just like the big girls, in our resort community. There are changes happening but the friendliness and neighborly howdies are still there even if Clark's isn't!
