Groupie's Adventure in Seattle

So Ashley and I have returned with lots of fabulous memories. The concert was great, all that I expected and more.

Our mission to see and meet Chris and Silvertone started early Saturday morning and could have started on a bad note real quick...my dear Ashley forgot her passport but luckily we were still allowed to cross the border.

The entire trip down we traveled through rain and then the afternoon came and it brought the sun. It was like the sky just opened up for the show and we were two very happy girls. When we arrived in Seattle we went down to South Lake Union Park to see what the venue was like and to make a reservation at Bonefish, a restaurant across the street.

All under the warm summer sun we saw an awesome concert, met some great people, had some drinks and danced and danced.

After the show Chris had a Meet & Greet so I got on the bandwagon and joined the line that felt more like a corral. As I shuffled along through the line all I could think of was "What do I say to him when I get up there" & "I feel like a cow in a corral". "Move it along, Move it along. Once you get to meet Chris move off to the side please." Don't get me wrong some groups don't even take the time, so I am thankful.

Once I got my shirt signed & met Chris, I moved off to the side and caught site of Hershel and Kenney standing around chatting. Image hosted by Photobucket.com
I thought I wasn't going to get the chance to meet them too, so I was happy to see them hanging around. Fresh off the rush of meeting Chris I walked up, introduced myself and got them to sign my shirt and chat a bit too. Image hosted by Photobucket.com

An odd thing sticks out in my mind about this trip south of the border; all I bought was a skirt. Yes you heard right, just one item. I did buy a concert shirt but that doesn't count, Ashley on the other hand went over her weekend shopping budget. I must be slipping.

All that is left now is to wait for their show at the River Rock Casino in December.

P.S. Must add this tidbit of crappy reality. Just 2 days ago I was having a blast and now here I am back at work dealing with a bad behaving Whippet and Pom Cross that just peed on my foot.

I guess the olf addage: "It's better to be pissed off than pissed on." doesn't work here!
